In accordance with local ordinance § 254-21, which stipulates that any residential building remaining vacant for a period exceeding six months shall be deemed a fire hazard and unsafe, I urge the City of Jersey City to take immediate action to address this matter. The owner, agent, or person in control of the property must be served a written notice requiring them to abate this condition within the specified timeframe. The debris on the roof was reported by another property owner and code compliance officer Tracy Simmons closed the matter without any action. Now the roof is deteriorating further and virtually on the brink of collapse from the heavy rains and debris.

What is the status of this as Im experiencing water leaks and falling tree limbs from this property. This is a hazard yet my first complaint was ignored by the city.

We need a status update here. Each time it rains that results in damage to my property because of that roof.
