Animal ControlAcknowledged49 Arlington Street Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420 - Fitchburg49 Arlington Street is continuously letting their dogs outside without a leash. One is a male brown pitbull and the other is a female black pitbull mix. Neither dogs are trained and do not come in when the owners call them. The brown one is an intact male and not friendly. He is also known to jump out of the first floor windows in order to go after other dogs. Both dogs are a nuisance!

Animal ControlOpen102 Saint Joseph Avenue Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420 - FitchburgBarking is natural for dogs, but sometimes barking can be a thing of excess, which can lead to frustrated owners, neighbors & the dog. 102 St. Joseph people allow their large dog to bark excessively. It disturbs the neighbors as well as this is stressful for the dog. This is animal abuse and these people should have their dog taken away & not just fined.

Animal ControlAcknowledged261 Cedar St Fitchburg, MA 01420, USA - Fitchburgthere is constantly a small Chihuahua like dog that is off leash outside in the Streets and barks and nips at passersbys. this has been going for years. it gets worse when people walk their own dogs nearby the dog will bark them out of the area. the dog is very territorial of the street corner of Holman and Cedar streets. Many cars have almost hit it, many have stopped to try and find an owner, until it runs back inside the yard of 261 cedar St.
I am worried about the safety of the dog, and the other people and pets in the neighborhood.
a permanent solution needs to be taken to have to dog off the street. -

Multiple (three) dogs barking in excess of 10 minutes sometimes before 7am.
This violates the noise ordinance and occurs daily!!

Animal ControlOpen139 Delisle Street Fitchburg, Massachusetts, 01420 - FitchburgWas walking with my newborn and right as I turned onto the street the green house’s big dog started barking before I was even near the property/ could even see it. I kept walking and it jumped up on the fence and kept barking so I ended up having to turn around. The fence they have is way too short to house what dog unattended if it’s going to chase people walking by. That’s ridiculous. They have more than one beware of dog sign- which means they know the dog is some sort of issue as it is. People can’t just leave their dogs outside when they know they act like this. Too scary and too prone to accidents. Fix it.
