They have approval for 50 feet of parking every Friday through Saturday through to August.
What portion of the street are they occupying and is it happening right now?

We really need to do better. I appreciate your attention to this matter, but I called the police and they sent me to parking. Parking said they would send someone over, after I was asked to call the police. I decided to the citizens response center involved, after not having any luck. Now, we are told to call the police, which I did.
Please, tell me what I should tell them as they are not too Happy to deal either these issues.

The street is now clear. The City allows for deliveries that temporarily block traffic.
Next time the street is blocked, call the non-emergency police number for quicker action. 201-547-5477.
For taking up parking, please contact Parking Enforcement. They enforce the no parking signs adhering to the application for those signs. If they are taking up more than the allowed space, they will ticket them.

Understood. We only have control over our Department and Public Safety has their own reporting system. Our inspector only goes to sites that have permits and make sure they are complying with the tenants of the permit as far as the occupation of a street or a sidewalk. If not or if involving parking, we have no ability enforce. Enforcement goes to the Public Safety or to Code Compliance, depending on the issue.
I am not the RRC, I only handle issues for the Department of Infrastructure.
If you meant to reach out to the RRC then I suggest you open a ticket under Ask a Question about your concern about parking enforcement. You can also attend your local monthly Captain's meeting or reach out to your community relations office.
As for the delivery of materials, this is allowed.
