I have not seen a recent police response to this ongoing issue. The ramp was closed to tractors after several fatal accidents. I consider this a serious problem whereas the stop signs are merely seen as a suggestion.
Sorry everyone that this one slipped through and hasn't been addressed. Three things: (1) DPW confirmed with MassDOT that there are signs on the bridge and on the ramp--the ramp is State responsibility; (2)one tractor trailer even turned RIGHT onto Beacon Street and then got itself stuck, had to backout; (3) I happened upon a State Police Officer who was issuing a ticket to an offender at the bottom of the ramp. He said, when you see trucks coming down the ramp, call the police (as opposed to submitting to SeeClickFix).
