Yesterday I was taking my morning constitutional down Goffe towards West Rock and stopped at the light at the corner of Boulevard. The light changed in my favor but I'm cautious and decided to make certain everyone stopped. Sure enough one of those construction dump trucks coming from Whalley stepped on the gas and barreled through the red light. It wasn't even close. A workman in a truck on the other side of the intersection had also decided to be cautious. If he hadn't, he would have been broadsided and killed. We looked at each other in amazement and just shrugged our shoulders. Put a cop out there in the morning at about 7 ( yeah right a copy at that intersection at 7 in the morning ...... hah ..... hah..... hah! I think I will be sooner witnessing the return of Jesus unless someone does get broadsided and killed and then of course there will be a police presence for the next few days.)

The trucks are bringing in loads and removing loads from the Bowen Field reconstruction project.
It will not end soon.
