  • Oakland Rd & Parkview Rd Town of Reading, MA, 01867, USA - Reading
Can the town review this location for a crosswalk? It's a dangerous section of road. Crossing Oakland at the bottom of Parkview is very common. However, this location is dangerous as Oakland crests at this point so cars coming down Oakland toward Longfellow cannot see pedestrians crossing. It is also a very common section of road for speeding. Can the town please review?

Gas project contractor sought access this a.m. to backyard at 15 Puritan. Meter disconnected per pic from backyard. Contractor never said he needed interior access. Contractor later left note with phone number and upon my wife calling, there is an auto message that the phone line is not in service. We are beyond upset with the contractor and we ask if the town can demand that the contractor come back and reconnect so that my family can have heat, a working stove ti cook dinner, and hot water tonight.

Can we put a 3 way stop sign here at the corner of Birch Meadow Drive and Arthur B lord drive This is a dangerous intersection during high traffic times and morning and afternoon school drop off and pick up It also causes a backup at the Birch elementary for drop off as at the same time at morning drop off Y classes are starting With a 3 way stop
Sign more cars will be able to turn onto birch meadow drive from Arthur b lord drive freeing up the congested areas Also the crossing guard is covering 2 crosswalks at the same time which seems hard e

Enormous tractor trailers. Continue to use John Street as a cut through. This road, and a left-hand turn onto 129 wasn’t designed for the sort of traffic

Good afternoon, this pile of debris is still on my lawn from the repaving project on Milton Road. I was told it would be removed and the lawn would be repaired last fall but it’s still there so I wanted to follow up. Thank you.

I am writing to request "no idling" signs similar to those posted in the Birch Meadow neighborhood near route 129. Cars, delivery trucks, and other vehicles routinely stand for hours idling in the area adjacent to Hunt Park. This is unhealthy, especially near a public park with youth sport and homes, contributes continual noise to the neighborhood, and is unsafe. Please address this subject before the Eaton Street construction project gets underway. (That project is NOT adjacent to Hunt Park.)

Utility trench in street that serves new housing development is sinking. This trench was not filled properly since day 1.
  • Pine Ridge Rd & South St Town of Reading, MA, 01867, USA - Reading
The fence needs to be relocated away from the road. The temporary tan box is also in sight line. The overgrown trees block views of oncoming vehicles as well. Lastly the poorly placed new utility pole is another obstruction.
  • 20 Glen Road Reading, MA, 01867, USA - Reading

    Hello,

I need to submit a formal health complaint for 20 Glen Road. There is trash all over the back yard. It is visible from the street since the family does not close their fence. I am shocked that the Town can see this and not allocated more resources. There is a significant a rat problem, and it is no doubt that this home is the source of our issue. It is unacceptable for children to live and play near this home. Rats bring disease. This is a health crisis that we need to call on the health department to partner with public works and potentially social services to provide resources.

I would like to request a submission of a formal complaint as well as request a health inspection of the premises at 20 Glen Road.

Please confirm that this can be submitted with the picture attached, or provide next steps for submission.

    Thank you,

    Concerned citizen
