  • Bancroft Ave & Middlesex Ave Town of Reading, MA, 01867, USA - Reading
    When heading south on Bancroft, it is almost impossible to see traffic on Middlesex because residential fences obscure the view. You have to pull into the intersection (unsafe) to see if any cars are coming. Can we put in a 4 way stop to reduce risk / increase safety?

    Please consider adding a crossing light at the intersection of Mark Ave and Grove St. There are lots of children who cross here when walking/biking to school, and the cars rarely stop. When walking our dog yesterday, we observed 6 cars drive right past a middle school student who was patiently waiting to cross the street. The cars do not respect the cross walk, and someone is going to get hurt.

    There should be a left turn arrow at the light to make it easier to turn onto 129 from Main Street. During busy traffic times it is a very dangerous turn to make.

    There need to be a “No turn on Red” for the crosswalk at this intersection. This is the busiest intersection in town. Cars coming up Salem street constantly take a right hand turn on Main Street while the cross walk light are on. Need to be fixed immediately No excuses. Thanks

    If you are on West street heading towards Woburn you can't see the light signal at Archstone Cirlcle until you are practically where you need to stop. The trees are blocking the view of seeing it in time to slow down for a red light.

    The traffic light at the corner of grove and 129 is facing the wrong direction. It is facing willow street when it should be facing 129 towards town. There for it is showing green for willow when it should be red.

    Resident reported that bicycle detection wasn't working on Woburn Street Approach (EB). I haven't been able to confirm this, but please look into it. Thanks!

    The red light on the traffic signal on the north easterly corner of West at Woburn is out and has been out for weeks. It is the pole light right in front of Sally Hoyt's house. WHY ??????

    The light at West/Summer/Willow are not working properly. Traffic is backing up quite a bit on West St. The sensor is not working. There is no one waiting on Summer/Willow and the light turns red for West.
